Nov 3, 2009 - I adore Craig. He is so honest about his past. Please read his book, it's wonderful.

Nov 3, 2009 - On some blog a little while ago, i was trolling people for comparing Craig Ferguson with the great Dave Letterman. Watched this clip just out of curiosity. All i'm gonna say is, I stand corrected.

Nov 5, 2009 - Very well said sir.
bwahahachick Says:
Nov 5, 2009 - Yes, it's just part of who Craig is. He makes jokes in those times, like waking up in his own piss which had to be embarrassing to talk about, to take some of the seriousness of it off. Anyway, he is truly one of the most sincere people I've ever seen. He has so much compassion. To be cliche, he's the real deal.

Nov 5, 2009 - This mea culpa is so boring and self-serving and possibly not particularly sincere.

Nov 6, 2009 - you have no idea.
randy109 Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - It takes a LOT of courage to tell your personal "story". Craig Ferguson showed a tremendous amount of strength to give this testimony that could help many people to face their OWN issues. Thanks Craig!
ginnypinnydfjs Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - I liked Craig already before this, but this has made me respect him even more. Good for you, Craig Ferguson.
PainAddict666 Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - Have you lost your mind? Sincerity is not in question here.
ycartneerg Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - PainAddict666 you're absolutely right, of course. I should have made clear I was certainly not referring to his heartfelt talk about his alcoholism. I was just making a less important comment about the portion regarding his making jokes about other celebrities. Which he will keep doing, that's what late night comedians will do. But...that's hardly the key point of his monologue here, I totally understand.
PainAddict666 Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - Okay, I hear you now. Craig made an important point here and I hope is resonates with his fanbase. The point is that even though we laugh at people it does not give us the right to judge them. Sorry I jumped to a conclusion based on your comment and thanks for taking the time to respond. : )

Nov 7, 2009 - For painaddict and ycartneerg, that was quite the display you two put on, in a good way. Not to often you have an exchange with people through comment posting that ends in understanding of the other persons point and simply ending it with a thanks. You two are role models for childish name calling and usually ridiculously hatefilled retorts.
