It is impossible to test something like this, because to get a truly accurate picture we would need to know the mind of God, and fully comprehend His sovereign will over all things. God also answers prayer in His own time and in His own way. I would also like to point out that there is more to prayer than just asking for stuff. It is how we have fellowship with God.

Dec 29, 2008 - if prayer works, then why did the man have to go to the hospital in the 1st place? why couldn't his family just simply pray for him to get better? infact, why do we need hospitals? why can't we pray to god whenever we get sick? why do we need police officers and fire figheters? why cant we just pray to god to keep us safe? why do we need jobs? y cant we just pray for god to give us money? why do churches ask for money? why can't the priests pray to god for the money they need?
