Oct 8, 2009 - likemusicwhat...not light years but maybe a light- day or two given that Voyager is not travelling anywhere near the speed of light. But that is STILL farther away than anything else man made so it's pretty cool!

Oct 9, 2009 - laughing at "White people have so much to be ashamed over." maybe some but not all.

MFJVIDEO Says:

Oct 13, 2009 - i love that bird at the start

SpaceAceTX Says:

Oct 14, 2009 - Yes I should be ashamed, especially since I wasn't even born. You are one dumb shit for brains. But I should feel bad for what someone else did? Do you realize how ignorany that statement is? My cousin was murdered by a black man, so all blacks owe me going by your logic. OK, sounds good to me, all the blacks start feeling guilty starting now. You dumb shit even the guy that killed my cousin had no remorse in court, he didn't even care he was dead.

lobos9800 Says:

Oct 20, 2009 - what fuckin jerk off racist saide white pple have so much to be ashamed of, im sicilian, im white, but we were conquered by african leader septimus severus and my pple are now mixed, eat a dick, id be ashamed if i got gamed and tricked to build america, try that asshole, slavery happened before cops, before the whites had money over blacks, it was education that bamboozled u, feel bad about that

blinddog99 Says:

Oct 21, 2009 - Haha 'white people have soooo much to be ashamed of'. Good one. I dare say the amount of acomplishments, achievements, ie science, art, music, literature, political philosophy (more to the point democracy) all these things and a thousand million more things would profoundly outweigh the indescretions or misdeeds of white people. Just some advice, think before you malign an entire race next time. Good song though.

BlindBenyWitherspoon Says:

Oct 21, 2009 - hahahahahaha...white people

tnrc75 Says:

Oct 22, 2009 - What, you think everything we've done has been admirable?

RevMikael Says:

Oct 23, 2009 - Thx for the link. This is Chris Thomas King know from "Brother where art thou". Here he is acting as BWJ and its from a TV serie called something like the story of the blues or similar.

amityken Says:

Oct 24, 2009 - It's actually from the 2003 film "The Soul of a Man" by Wim Wenders for the PBS series "The Blues." It's how I first learned about BWJ, and thank god I was flipping channels that night!

PinkOld Says:

Oct 27, 2009 - The woman who sang on Blind WiIlie's recordings turned out to be his first wife, Willie B. Harris. Yes, her real first name was Willie. Also, I really like the poster's comment he put with this. Very right, and Willie himself would have agreed.

kangtheconqueror Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - There's the little matter of the holocaust of "inconvenient" Indians...slave-owning state...aggressive wars...shooting striking workers, coal and copper miners, Ford workers...tempered by some good things

deejaySpirit Says:

Nov 2, 2009 - "taking the misery of poverty and making death something to look forward to" Making death something to look forward to? Not quite... Remember that his hope and faith was in Jesus, not in reaching the end of his life. It is clearly demonstrated by the lyrics of the song.

riseandshine1804 Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - The song's called "trouble soon be over", meaning life is nothing but sorrow and strife, but soon it will be over and he will join Jesus in heaven, "one day I'll rest with Jesus and wear his starry crown". Maybe I've got it wrong, but I see this song being about misery with faith his only hope.

deejaySpirit Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5:3-5 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 1 Peter 4:16

Nov 17, 2009 - Jesus Christ, you must be a gem to be around. Quoting scripture out of an outdated childs book while riding your high horse over someone else's accomplishments and anothers opinion and interpretation. You must make your jesus proud. I bet you honestly believe in a talking tempting snake. Ridiculous.

TheDavik1000 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - if anyone can tell me where to get more recordings of Harris, I will love you long time. an angel...
