Oct 1, 2009 - I know at least 30 people that have never heard of a band called Placebo. I am not an Emo or a Junkie. I've enjoyed their music for many years. I don't know what you have against bands gaining more recognition with years, especially if their music is still good. They're not like Korn or M. Manson who after only a few albums, started to suck and became unbearable to listen to. I have no idea why those acts still have any fans. Bottom line: if your music is good you'll gain more and more fans.

Bands don't 'betray' their fans when they become more popular, and if they still produce great music (like placebo e.g.), it's just natural that more people listen to them. I dissuade from accusing musicians because of the fans they gain -.-
