May 24, 2009 - It says P3D is discontinued so im wondering how it differs from the current PD30 model Same situation with the L2D, is currently LD20

SparkyAUA Says:

Jun 7, 2009 - it hurts looking at the center of the lightXD

whitenite007 Says:

Jun 14, 2009 - Where did you see that the L2D is discontinued?

volcomvenom Says:

Jun 19, 2009 - Good review, but my eyes hurt now from all the light!

hheadblade Says:

Jun 29, 2009 - would you trust the P3D on a tactical shotgun which will primarily shoot slugs and buckshot? I know you mentioned it was recoil resistant but would the tactical shotgun knock it senseless?

mtnsnow11 Says:

Jul 3, 2009 - NutnFancy, I sure enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work. Can you do a video on the Gerber Infinity Ultra. It is sure affordable. It is a great back up light for camping.

tepid3 Says:

SPCkeith Says:

Jul 22, 2009 - will the surefire M78 mount work with this light? its says .75 to .85 so im thinking yes.

Zigosity Says:

Aug 3, 2009 - Just bought a PD30 last week... waiting for it to arrive now, can't wait! Thanks man, you got me into knives and now you've got me into lights and other gear too! Hehe.

DarkDestiny98 Says:

Aug 12, 2009 - So, did u recieve ur torch already?

Zigosity Says:

Aug 12, 2009 - Yup! It's pretty awesome - very bright and long runtimes too.

urkingod Says:

Aug 29, 2009 - I like Led Lenser P7 200 Lumen, and Led Lenser Police Tech Torch 108 lumen. Both made in Germany. (I personally like German or Japanese product as they have never failed on their quality production). But what is going on with flashlight world these days ? It seems everyone is trying to compete with one another. LOL!

urkingod Says:

Aug 29, 2009 - Is Fenix a Chinese company? I know Led Lenser is German company. Surefire is American company.

HawaiiIceMan Says:

Sep 1, 2009 - Yes Fenix is a Chinese company, made in Hong Kong i believe

MrCntrybyWlkr Says:

Sep 14, 2009 - Great review would like to see one on the P30 though. It's a little bigger and has a few more lumens than the P3D.

maynerd23 Says:

Oct 11, 2009 - holy man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 50.00 bucks for a max 212 lumens!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive been waiting for a reasonable price!!! i have an energizer 90 lumen i got for 44.00 bucks... but i love fenix iam going online to buy one rigt now!!!

coolstuffaddict Says:

Oct 22, 2009 - Is the diffuser tip for the P3D/PD30 compatible with LD20?

AmFearLiathMor Says:

Oct 23, 2009 - You can get a double NiMh AA 200 Lumen TANK007 TK-566 for $15. It has a superior clicky to the Fenix L2D and its output matches the Fenix P3D and can be used with a single AA.

noaffiliationsfr Says:

Oct 24, 2009 - doubt it, the p3d is fatter due to its power source, cr123 batteries, the ld20 uses AA batteries there fore it's thinner.

coolstuffaddict Says:

Oct 24, 2009 - Yeah but the ld20 body tube narrows down and is significantly slimmer than the head part, so maybe the head diameter is similar or the same?

noaffiliationsfr Says:

Oct 24, 2009 - i doubt that

goretro77 Says:

Nov 1, 2009 - nutnfancy - at 22:30 you mention a small gripe about the Fenix P3D not having a memory function, A way around this is to leave the light in turbo mode and turn it off. Especially if used as a weapons light that is the mode, turbo - I would like the light to start in and if I need less I can adjust it. Most likely if mounted on something like an AR15 and you have a need to turn the light on you will want all of the available light that weapons light (P3D) has to offer. Start in turbo mode.

Nov 4, 2009 - I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your honest opinion. Because of the review I bought the Fenix P3D. It did come with Tenergy Proper 123A Lithium batteries. The cost to me was $54.95. This included the freight. I purchased the Fenix P3D from E Bay. It works great. I am glad I listened to you. Thank you!

CoachAsmono Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - Outstanding review, and video. Very technical for those who want to know the truth. Thank you for posting.
