Feb 4, 2009 - Pupy is the greatest! I have never seen him dance to D'Arienzo before. He was young and agile back then in 1991. And look how long Gracielas hair is! ;-) Thanks for sharing this...

May 11, 2009 - Fabuloso!

May 14, 2009 - The guy smiling at Puppy at 0:17, is it Paulie Walnuts from the Sopranos? The dancing is fantastic, but the best part of this video is when that guy prances around the stage at 1:00!!

antontango Says:

Aug 5, 2009 - the guy smiling is El Aleman Anton

oliverquick Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Please, stop insulting people, or your comments will be removed!

oliverquick Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - It is an improvised dance, not a choreography. A SHOW of dancers trying to impress each other with their steps. A competition that was very typical for the early days of tango.

oliverquick Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - And with all respect, Puppy, may he rest in peace, and Graciela were one of the best known dance couples of their time. Many dancers were influenced by them. They were part of Buenos Aires Milongas for decades. They breathed Tango. Calling them deaf and incompetent of knowing what is tango, is at least very arrogant.

hadagi0 Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Being deft it is not an insult it is a physical deficiency that some people might have. I do endorse my previous statement, that particular performance was off beat, caracteristic of Puppi's and Graciela's dance. What you trying to remove is the truth, my friend, take a closer look at it. By the way I knew Puppi Costelo You didn't. Tango is a way of life for us, we embrazed tango since the day we were born. You consume tango, that is the reason why you don't see what I do.

hadagi0 Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - True Tango is based on improvisation between two people aiming towards interpreting tango music faithfuly, tango is about the music not about the dance.

hadagi0 Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - The passing of Puppy was a very sad moment for many of us who knew him, but that doesn't disallow me to express my opinion on a tecnical matter. By the way I never used the word incompetent, you did.

hadagi0 Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - I meant deaf

oliverquick Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Puppy was and Graciela still is a close friend of me and my wife. Besides that, feel free to have your own opinion about this dance...

Sondanga Says:

Ja!

hadagi0 Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Thank you

hadagi0 Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Bién, estás aprendiendo.

Sondanga Says:
