Dec 13, 2008 - Hey Edward...One look was all it took.

Dec 14, 2008 - I covered this period only last year for my AS/A Level. Sadly, guys this is fairly historically innacurate. It would have been better if they could taken just a little bit more trouble to get it right... Angelica apparently never actually existed. Rupert of the Rhine was much, much better looking with dark smouldering looks, was 6ft4" tall and was noted as talking with a very distinct German accent! This actor didn't even slightly do him justice.
Scoob505 Says:
Dec 15, 2008 - that guy is pretty good looking
naughtystepUGC Says:
Dec 16, 2008 - oh yes, agreed, but Prince Rupert was famously VERY dashing and VERY good looking. Google him to see what you think. I think this portrayal is too sauve, too English, too "James Bondsyish". Rupert, was also referred to as the "Winter Prince" and was known to be a bit of a wicked devil (yum!), I can't envisage him talking to Sexby whatsoever like this!?!, the royals were fairly snooty at that time. Sexby didn't end his life by shooting himself either! :(

Dec 16, 2008 - No Edward was sent to the tower in 1658 on the 13th February.

Dec 23, 2008 - The fact that Angelica never existed is not "historically inaccurate". It demonstrates that this is a fictionalized dramatization - by using a fictional heroine rather than a historically real one they have the freedom for her to do whatever the writers want. It's a tv series, not a documentary. Compared to most period dramas it does a very decent job of recreating the era and events - but it takes many liberties, as all series do
Biscom Says:
Dec 30, 2008 - Don't like Prince Ruperrt here. If that was me I would'nt be looking at him but at Edward.

" Charles I was very formal but Rupert had spent much of his life soldering. When they aren't raping, murdering and stealing, squaddies tend to be quite affable souls so Rupert may we have been fairly easy going
