May 2, 2009 - Am living in Viana for the past 10 years. Beautiful place. It's true the streets are empty after 7pm, it's when the shops close. People here are very traditional and that means everyone is at home eating an early dinner, they might come out if there is an event in the praça otherwise they stay home. Go to nearby Spain and people are out and about in the early evening just about all year.
