WTF do you want them to do? they fired the employees that broke it, and all their tickets read that they take NO responsibility for any damaged or lost carry-on or checked luggage. End of story. Like "oznog99" said, the case is there to PROTECT the items in it. I had a friend who went to Buffalo by helicopter, and he packed his guitar using that. It fell out of the plane at 1000ft. IT WAS FINE! you are so over reacting!

Nov 19, 2009 - Don't know who you are, or why you chose to respond in that way, but the simple truth is that any musician who puts a valuable instrument in a soft shelled case, then expects that instrument to survive a trip in the cargo hold of an airplane is asking for trouble. If pointing out this fact makes me a moron, perhaps you could explain how using a FLIGHT CASE would have been a BAD idea.
