Aug 30, 2008 - I'll get on it!! (first I am gonna have to get me some shades...) Those semi's were driving me nuts! Ironically, my son is quickly turning completely Japanese, as when he hears semi's he thinks it's "いいね、夏の音".

Well, I guess that adds to the summer thing - I gottal learn if there is a way to filter that noise a bit. Aug 30, 2008 - 確かに、蝉がうるさくて、聞きづらいですね・・・ このVlogはEricsurf6から「バトン」をもらって作ったので、英語でざっとつくりました。今もうちょっとちゃんとした動画も編集しているのでそれを楽しみにしてくださいね。

Aug 31, 2008 - I know man, the problem is that the xacti has its mic on the side of the camera, which means that surrounding noise seems to come in better than where the camera is being pointed. It kinda drives me nuts too. Ah well. Lesson learned... Autumn indeed - the best season in Japan! peace

Aug 31, 2008 - Hiko, Thanks for the video response! You didn't miss much out at the beach in Izu. Our camp got hit by thunderstorms late Friday night and we got rained out most of the day on Saturday. Everything was wet but we did get a little bit of kayaking and bodyboarding in.
