Aug 8, 2009 - Human Rights... Democracy... Rule of Law These values are the foundations of a tolerant and civilised society and indispensable for European stability, economic growth and social cohesion. Co-operation between all member states is the only way to solve the major problems facing society today. -

Crafie24732292 Says:
Aug 18, 2009 - Reform is needed, on a massive scale. States should have a vote see if their people want to remain part of the EU. Apart from this very basic reform, vast reforms are needed regarding the huge waste that the EU is so famous for. The EU hasn't balanced its own books for how long?11years? As for our Monarchy, they've never harmed me. The EU harms my rights every day, by having legal precedence over laws made by our own politicians. 75-80% of our laws coming from a foreign power isn't democratic.

Nov 2, 2009 - "The Euro never has been tested." ... Well it has by now and guess what, it does perfectly fine even in the worst economic crises in a very long time.

Nov 4, 2009 - Nikki Sinclair was member of the extreme far-left Anti-Nazi League. Former UKIP member Anthony Scholefield revealed that Mark Croucher, UKIPs former communications director, regularly shows UKIP members details to Communists and Socialist Workers via Searchlight and Unite Against Fascism (UAF).
bigderekkeene Says:
Nov 18, 2009 - as an ex royal navy serviceman, i left in 2004 and the Navy was in shit state then, with cuts in funding the situation has worsened. This is the case with all UK armed forces. When we used to pull along side some foreign european vessels the gulf in quality was shameful. This undermiming of the forces is for one reason only, to lead us into a singular european army. disgraceful
1957Rotu Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - Why does Farage compare the EU with the old Soviet Union ? At least, in the EU, people like Farage have complete freedom to express their Euro-sceptical views. The same was never true of the old Soviet Union. Does Farage not understand this fundamental point?
smoochym Says:
Nov 21, 2009 - Maybe it's getting better, the Type 45 destroyers are one of the most adavanced ships in the world, and we are going to have 2 brand new decent size aircraft carriers when most Europeans have one or less and have no plans to rebuild. If they don't get cancelled...

BennoToorn Says:
Aug 6, 2009 - Yes the countries inside the EU have still democracy, but inside the EU parliament not. The elected MEP's in the EU parliament can only make suggestions and not even on a law. the laws comes from the unelected EU council, Commission and council of ministers. 85% of the laws they make come from secret working groups. An EU citizen or even an MEP have no access to there documents or what the are doing. quote of Nigel Farage: We behaving like nazi's back in the 1930's watch?v=I6rjhxVprZA on 1:56 ;)
