Sep 26, 2009 - No your right it isnt, but due to regulations they have to, if you were born male but are now post op female, then a female has to search you if needed, same for the other way round, however if you are pre op then the gender you were born with is the gender of the officer you will be searched by, We trans people understand this, its not okay to ask, but if its for authority then we understand that we have to comply. Oct 31, 2009 - About 15 yrs ago I was arrested by CPD for solicitation, I am Transgendered, spent night in lockup, went to court etc. I am a college degreed professional not in any way a prostitute and wrote complaint letters from mayor Daley down, with very little response from anyone... Including my arresting officer. I want to say thanks to CPD for this video. Maybe it will prevent another from being in the situation I was in. Kudos and renewed respect for C P D.
