Nov 24, 2009 - I've never seen a guitarist look so bored in my life. Saw Knopfler in Miami last year, and he really seems over the Sultans of Swing thing. His solo stuff is the best. Check out Prairie Wedding.

Cleevemire Says:
Nov 24, 2009 - At first; technically, yeah, your right. But then a big part of the solo is from sultans of swing. He just threw them both in together.

Nov 25, 2009 - wow beautiful, amazing, fantastic, one of the best guitar solos ever, such a great technic and feeling in combination.

Nov 25, 2009 - A nice recording by one of the rock guitar's real craftsmen, yet you've really got to hold back on the "best ever" stuff. Love Marc Knoeffler, love "Sultans of Swing", but aside from the crisp hammer ons and offs, which are part of his trademark, this recording is not near the studio version, or a number of his recorded solos. Let's not get into comparing favorites even. Still, well worth the listen, that clean sound and skill never gets old.

Nov 26, 2009 - MK is just fantastic no other word for it He has both the vision and the ability to portray it -----very rare
Capaximperii Says:
Nov 26, 2009 - Like that, carinya. "...both the vision and the ability to portray it". On a different note - my preference goes to the Telegraph Road solo. More depth, more sheer genius. Unequalled stuff. Wolfgang Ludwig would take MK straight into their classic arms.
