Nov 18, 2009 - This is a very interesting lineup of the band. Coverdale's voice actually got better over the years leading up to and including Whitesnake. Hughes vocals here remind me why he is the MOST underrated rock and roll voice in history...His range control is easily on par with Ian Gillan's during that era. Still, this is not a classic Purple sound, while still very, very good. I just enjoy the classic lineup of the band.
