Nov 21, 2009 - That's not much - think back 4bn years,.. the tidal waves then were an everyday occurrence, travelling hundreds of miles an hour, 1000ft tall and travelling hundreds of miles inland - AT EACH TIDE! Days were much shorter than they were today, the moon was much closer and the moon had a much greater effect on our tides. This video is nothing compared to those early tides - but it's still quite impressive to watch. 4/5 for the vid. Thanks. :)
