Dec 1, 2008 - No doubt that Apu has an excellent singer. He has a very strong classical base. But, the panel is not maintaining neutrality. How they are promoting Apu is bound to influence the decision of voters. Once again - I like Apu's voice. But, I think that the judges shouldn't promote anybody at this stage. They are all good and they are all our precious children.

Dec 2, 2008 - It was odd to see the judges openly root for Apu. The last two Closeup 1 winners received lower marks from the judges, but ended up winning because of the sympathy votes. This time the judges are rooting for him because he is the best "pure" singer with a complete package (voice/basics). He mostly scored the highest numbers from the judges, high praises from the guests and got an standing ovation from the past Closeup 1 contestants. Apu really had an impact on everyone that understands music.

Dec 17, 2008 - Bd ppl suck, every single program they always vote wrong person. Liza can't even sing high scale songs, she was singing Ek Shagor Rokter Binimoye...and she couldn't even raise her voice 2 say "Amra Tomader Bhulbona". Opu is da only 1 contestant who can sing any type of song in any scale. Opu deserve the close up 1, what can I say, most ppl are still illiterate, lack of brain, I feel so sorry . Hope 1 day bd people will have the knowledge about making the right judgement about the person.

Jan 1, 2009 - excellent Apu! 3rd time in a row BD ppl mistook to select the closeup1. Liza is not bad but not even near to to Apu's performance. He knows music. Liza learning. This year it was acceptable to have them 1st 2nd. But for me Apu is 1st and Liza is 2nd. Wish Leon was in the final too. Apu Leon know whats music.
