Jul 8, 2009 - If US and China merge into one country, much of the debt would disappear. A "national" pan-pacific union is not in the foreseeable future however....

Jul 11, 2009 - I think that was exactly an alusion to the war on Iraq. Or problably the future wars against Iran or venezuela. Keep in mind that the US just reactive the 4th fleet. The Latin America fleet. He didn't forget. Instead he was smooth

Aug 24, 2009 - First... you are not discussing the topic. 2nd... you are incapable of writing a coherent English argument. 3rd... You obviously don't know history or the bible. Hitler was no Christian. If you have a cogent argument that pertains to the economy and this particular segment then please make it. This comment will be removed because it is bigoted. Please reply with a well thought out argument and in a decipherable English grammar. Thank you.

Aug 24, 2009 - Its a nice thought but completely untenable. Man chose to refuse that at the beginning of the world and so now we must deal with evil in the form of war, greed, envy and jealousy. All of which cause this ideal to be implausible. I do wish it could be so however.
singletreefilms Says:
Aug 31, 2009 - Exactly... CLAIMED to be doing the work... but if one reads scripture then they can easily decipher the duplicity of the man and realize he was simply using people with a lack of critical thinking skills in order to further his agenda. We see this happen with far to much regularity. Hitler was clearly not of the mind of Christ but quite the opposite, despite what he wrote or said... A man is not made by age, experience or words but by actions and attitude. Hitler had no character.

Oct 7, 2009 - You are correct... this was a mis-statement by Don and we were required to match the text. It has been pointed out before. unfortunately, too difficult to go back and change. Thanks for keeping us true to history... an important factor for me. Check out the latest 09 version posted on SingleTree films here on YT. Far more entertaining and just as informational. Hope you are getting good info out of all of this.

Oct 7, 2009 - Philosophically, perception seems a viable basis for the question... however, Gold, silver and other commodities are definitive in quantity and therefore do not suffer as much from perception as currencies do it seems to me. Certainly negative or positive marketing has an effect on tangible assets but the dollar, for example, is no longer backed by tangibles, can be printed in whatever quantities the current admin wants and is far more volatile in perception than a tangible asset like gold.

Oct 27, 2009 - Wow, looks like I have to buy gold RIGHT NOW! The Dollar will be worthless, the end is near, duck and hide. Be scared now and cry for help! Go screw yourself, people. All it takes is bankrupt nation to sell some reserves and you gold buyers are all screwed, period. Even if all nations switched to a currency basket, the Dollar is still #2 right after the EURO and nothing else comes even close. I just cannot hear the stupid crap about worthless $ and toilet paper any more.
singletreefilms Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - Of course a weaker currency is good for the countries that don't have a weak currency... You are right, others have been saying that things will collapse for decades... however there is a real and tangible danger of that now. Probably won't happen to the extent some say but it will be worse before it gets better. We do need to be concerned for our own currency and our gov't should stop spending and printing more.
singletreefilms Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - How do you define help? There are many who don't help and are not the elite... and many elite who do help in terms of much philanthropy and giving back to their local communities.
singletreefilms Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - Of course some go too far... but there is validity in keeping an eye on this and taking advantage of upswings and downswings of any market or commodity... now is definitely a good time to be in the precious metals side of things... and that will swing in a few years and something else will be the wise move... what are you being wise about? Besides ... according to your assessment, there won't be any bankrupt nations to sell off gold so gold buyers won't be in that bad of a position after all.

I would appreciate you honoring those requests... I will remove this post and hope you will respond with some interesting insightful thoughts.

Jul 7, 2009 - Okay, if gold is the perfect hedge against a collapsing U.S. dollar, whats to stop the fed from robbing us of our gold and backing the deflating dollar with American citizen's gold? They did it during the depression. They forced people to take a lesser amount for the gold in their safety deposit boxes then immediately raised the price. why buy gold when a "BANK HOLIDAY" is clearly looming in the very near future?
