Nov 2, 2009 - Their is a very , very , very long way between what you call slavery and what I call GENOCIDE so make sure that you are speaking in respect of the people that died for that cause or their descendants , in Africa , slaves still had rights , and none of us that came here by choice and we did build this continent

voxhunden Says:

Nov 2, 2009 - You're right, there's no arguing with that. All I can say is that to me, living in a cosy European country in 2009 AD it's unimaginable what happened. Beyond reason. And it can't have been driven by just greed. What you describe must involve a great deal of hatred as well.

Nov 3, 2009 - BEST RAP GROUP EVER !! PUBLIC ENEMY N.1

Cykomiser Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - Remember the past, do not dwell on it. You dwell on it and you keep the old hatreds alive (hey my family never got their 40 acres and a mule either). The important thing is how do we change the future? Stop the violence, stop the hatred and start understanding that ALL men (and women) are created equal and everybody is guaranteed Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. As the future leaders of this world, we need to stop living with the sins of our fathers and help each other to understand.

Nov 3, 2009 - yeah but back then mtv was a kick ass channel. they were always on the cutting edge of things. now, all they care about is the hills. and if Isee those 2 losers heidi and spence one more gott damn time, I'm slapppin the hell out of somebody!!

MOBROOKS Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - yeah, during the campaign , mccain gave a speech from the mlk museum on mlk day. after he voted against mlk's holiday, I felt like that was the ultimate slap in the face! fuck that dude. plus, he voted down an increase for the g.i. bill when he himself is a vet. what the fuck is wrong that nigga?

voxhunden Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - I admire your optimism but it's not safe to hope for the best without etc. The old hatreds don't need any outside help to keep themselves alive. All they need are sustained ignorance and a regular dose of misinformation. The past should not just be remembered but studied as well. For example by exchanging thoughts and ideas in a civilised manner like on this page. I see no blame game here, just facts. And facts are the only defense we humans have against tyranny and inhumanity.

Nov 26, 2009 - Today's mainstream artists are too afraid to even do anything of this caliber, which is sad because music, ESPECIALLY hip-hop needs to return to this level of confrontation in their music because we need it now more than ever.
