Nov 10, 2009 - IMO nicholson was the best joker. but ledger gave the joker a completely new character. i also dont like christian bale as BATMAN. val kilmer (batman forever, 1995) was much better. and always bale is batman in the german version he has that motherf*ckin' "dark" or "dangerous" voice. dont know if its also in the english version. that's getting on my nerves. but val kilmer was best. the new movies are good, the very old one from 1966 is funny, but the ones from 1989-1997 are the best.

Nov 13, 2009 - I personally think Heath Ledger's joker was the best ever, Jack Nicholson's was amazing, but Heath did something completely different and had to make it his own which he did, and the fact that he died before the movie was released in cinemas (in the UK anyway) made his performance that much creepier and more suited to the part, but that said it's a pity he died because he was an incredible actor.
