Nov 20, 2009 - @wilsxf314 You don't know what you are talking about. Verizon phones run on 2 networks: 1XRT for voice and EV-DO for data. 3G stands for 3rd generation. EV-DO is the 3G technology VZW uses for its high speed data network. The maps ARE accurate. So sorry to hear you have ATT. Lmao.

ATT are at a draw in large cities, but, in rural areas and cities with less than 30K people - ATT still doesn't provide 3G. Polishing up your post, I suggest that users go out and buy a phone from ATT or the Verizon store and check it out ~ there is usually a $35 restocking fee and 30 days to return it - if it works, great, keep it, if not suck up the $35 and try the other carrier.
