Jul 21, 2009 - dude i am a ps3 fanboy and even i have to admit pcs have better graphics, not sure about gameplay. i have a gtx 285 and quad core processor and when i compare ps3/xbox360 graphics with pc on gta4 its just unfair! although ps3 has a lot of potential for graphics with the cell processor, the only game that has actually utilized this was killzone 2 but they did not do it fully. but there are pcs that can do more things at once then a cell processor, pcs can be upgraded... they also cost more.. lol

Jul 28, 2009 - the reason PC's cost more is because you can do so much with them, it goes beyond what you think you know as well, I have been using computers all my life, and I'm sure there are things out there, that I didn't even know you could do...and things yet to come.. simply comparing based on price is silly I think, that's like saying "Well a Nissan 350Z is a better than a Bugatti Veyron, because it's a lot cheaper"

Jul 28, 2009 - you get so much value out of PC, and games as well, the controls are better, the graphics are better, online supports more players, and you have access to User Created Maps, which don't stop being created, it's like playing the same game that's on console, and multiplying it by 100. and you CAN build a PC that will smoke console for $800 (given you already have a monitor) and if PC gamers played at the same resolution, you could still beat it at an even lower cost!

Jul 28, 2009 - most people have a $400 console, and a $500 PC, and if they would have put that money towards a good $900 PC, they would have a wicked PC, and a wicked Gaming System, but instead they have a mediocre gaming system, and a shitty PC. of course this is if you build it yourself, and it's not as hard as it looks, it's basically common sense. lol So I think that for the amount extra that would be spent on a PC is a good deal, and you get about 4 years use out of it, not bad.

Jul 28, 2009 - another thing as well, is with PC, if you ever just want to build another one, if your one of those people that do it as a hobby, the older PC can still be used for a long time, for music, movies, internet, and whatever else, and older games can of course still be played on it. You can just leave your operating system on it, and use it for that stuff, as just running an O/S isn't demanding, or regular programs. after a while of course it will be worthless, Like everything.
