Jul 24, 2009 - Actually there is a verse in the Qur'an calling for all believing women to wear hijab. If you are a Muslim woman you hijab because Allah said to, not for any other reason. Just like the video points out, everyone is a slave to something whether it's the media or the belief in a higher being. A woman wearing hijab oppresses a man's "right" to objectify her and that's why there is such a big deal made about it. If no one is forcing me to wear hijab how am I oppressed?
