Nov 18, 2009 - @davidkwan2000, if you like teaching history you go to find some idiots to teach, you don't need to come here keep talking each day, get a life man, maybe you don't have a wife and feeling lonely, but we don't need your lessons, we know we don't have happy history but we Chinese don't always look back to the past and feeling sad, let the history be the history, we learned from our history long ago, we'll stand strong and being tough, no one can bully us anymore.

davidkwan2000 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - the truth hurts...yes I know. My post is NOT for the faint of heart so those can't handle the truth please move on. I sincerely wish you well.

wingsmanx5 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - @davidkwan2000, i know you aren't a bad person, but you just like a bug keep talking all these history again and again. i know all these history long ago, if i feel hurt i already feel hurt long ago, but life has to go on, China is richer and stronger each day, now each day what we've been thinking about are how to make our life better, how to build our country stronger, only the losers have been thinking the past and feel sorry, we aren't the losers, we let it go and we fight for our future.

davidkwan2000 Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - The US, china, and ussr all made the same mistake in vietnam war all of them had no business in that country. Vietnam belongs to vietnamese. -The US lost almost 60,000 lives -millions viets killed -another million viet refugees ended up all over the world. -China has a new enemy at her border -USSR collapsed. Who won ?

joonijoon Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - It would be D-Day everyday when the US and China go to war, but they will continue to buy Chinese made products as the war rages.

joonijoon Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - The Chinese will be like the Mongolian hords when it comes to their neighbors.

davidkwan2000 Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - 2008 GDP per capita ( by IMF): USA( $47,440), Germany( $35,539), France( $34,205), Japan( $34,116), South Korea( $27,692), Hungary( $19,553), Russia( $15,948), Iran( $11,052), Brazil( $10,446), China( $5,970), Philippines( $3,515), India( $2,780), Vietnam( $2,784), Pakistan( $2,624), Cambodia( $2,082) For a complete list of all countries, GOOGLE under 'GDP per capita by countries'

BakvSFE Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - @davidkwan2000 china's economic growth started from 1976 due to economic policy reform. one million millionaires were born in 30 years, now is the 3rd in the world. china's GDP per capita in 2005 was only $1703, and it jumped to $5970 in 2009. you will see what gonna happen in 2020. God bless you.

davidkwan2000 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - not interested in SS Totenkof or SS Adof Hitler - you're a nazi !

greenguard2468 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - @BakvSFE Dear friend , I am from Hongkong china and I want to share sth to you you know GDP doesnt mean all, for example ,taiwan creates nothing but copying silicon RAM chips from U.S.A ,but its GDP is higher than russian , In fact, after the financial crisis and conspiracy by the U.S ,now the GDP by the West means nothing U.S has collpsed now

wingsmanx5 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - In the West, people have to pay heavy tax from their income, the real income is much smaller than their GDP.

davidkwan2000 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - As you all know, the US has borrowed a lot of money from foreign countries. Here are the top 3 foreign holders of US treasury securities ( as of Sept. 30, 2009): 1) China: $798.9 billions 2) Japan: $751.50 billions 3) UK : $249.30 billions For more info, GOOGLE ' major foreign holders of treasury securities'

davidkwan2000 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - why is china lendind so much money to the US? - if you believe the chinese are acting out of the goodness of their heart to help us out, I think you're too naive to play on the big stage of world politics. Fact is the US and China are now living in a love-and-hate relationship. A US depression would mean destruction of chinese export industries. And china is well aware of the fact that part of her money is financing the US gov't's spendings, which include its massive military spending.

greenguard2468 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - @wingsmanx5 You are right , and the taxes, mostly , are spent by the "democratic" (in fact NOT democratic at all) polticians and the civil servants , who do not have efficient PRODUCTICITY at all

wingsmanx5 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - @greenguard2468 Yes, they can openly decide how much salary they can get but don't have to worry about any corruption charge, each day they just talk talk talk but do very few, that's democracy man.

davidkwan2000 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - so you can observe some strange phenomenons - on one hand the chinese are slowly building up their military, on the other hand they're lending money to the US, allowing the americans buy more weapons of massive destruction. How big is the US defense budget ? - way, way too big. We spend more money in our military than the entire EU combined + China. Do you remember the US destroyed communism without firing a single shot? then why the heck are we buying so much WMD now ?

davidkwan2000 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - As I've mentioned, my post is not for the faint of heart. If you're still enjoying your 2nd childhood, or not intellectually smart enough, I would suggest you fulfill your dreams in Peter Pan.

wartmcbeighn Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - How did the "US destroyed communism without firing a single shot" ???

m0rttal Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - Because the USA wants to buy up all the WMD so that IRAQ wont have anymore WMD, USA demand for WMD will jack up the price of WMD to the point that IRAQ can not afford it. Then the War in IRAQ would become a success.

sgtsk Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - What I know is that China is not like the West who occupied lands thousands of miles away, have almost a thousand military bases oversea and ten over aircraft carriers roaming the seas globally.

sgtsk Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - In all wars, all involved lost. China had the lost war with vietnam caused the Vietnamese leaders thumped their chect to the chinese that they were the world 3rd strongest army and then invaded China's then ally Cambodia. Chinese army pushed to 100 km near Hanoi to prove a point to the vietnamese that China could take Hanoi no matter at what cost. Chinese withdrawn after the point was achieved.

MtFrans Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - estos chinos a los americanos les saca su mierda..... es una potencia mundial ahora ya no es necesario aprender Ingles aprenderemos Chino Mandarin buen video hasta pronto

NasDa Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - I respectfully disagree. Surely a US depression would affect chinese export a lot but I don't think it is a destruction. Chinese export is mainly standard living things. You don't buy fancy cars and cloth but you are gonna have to have milk everyday.

davidkwan2000 Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - sgtsk- a war is won by fully executing strategic plans, by achieving your military objectives, and by inflicting maximum damages on your enemy while keeping your own casualties low. To find if china won in 1979, you just need to GOOGLE " third indochina war", or "China - Vietnam war 1979".

davidkwan2000 Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - Nasda-thank you. Maybe not a complete destruction but the impact would be beyond one's imagination. according to statistics, over 9000 Guangdong based export manufacturing firms went out of business in the first 10 months of 2008. Remember Guangdong is only a province. And it's a recession not a depression - do you know the difference ?
