Sep 8, 2009 - cool video, this is just what i was looking for. I'd never seen the hip bump to butterfly guard before, I tried it when I was rolling today and it worked great.

Sep 22, 2009 - Do you do a no gi series?

kim0th3r4py Says:

Sep 30, 2009 - None of these involve grabbing onto or cluching the kimono/gi. They would work equally as well in a no gi situation. Otherwise no, from what I have seen, he doesn't.

aikighost Says:

Sep 30, 2009 - Sure. But then this video isn't the whole DVD :D I'm much more into no gi submission wrestling than BJJ so I'm always on the look out for no gi material.

Nov 21, 2009 - TO EVERYONE WHO'S WATCHING THIS i cannot recommend roys blue belt DVD enough. Everything is explained in the perfect amount of detail for a beginner (not too little detail not too much), and he explains the technique several times. Since we learn by repetition that is VERY useful. Whenever i'm rolling i remember little details that he says such as "comb my hair" when escaping the mount when your opponent wraps his arm around your head. $45 is a STEAL for a dvd of this quality

memento18poker Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - @hofferman132 the 'foot drag' is also really good. The upa can get kinda tiring against a big opponent for me
