Oct 30, 2009 - Care to defend Bishop Sheen? I have a great deal of evidence-from a book. and Elenor has something to say about going to the library. You want to call Rochester and check her circulation? she goes at least five times amonth with you know who. You are incoragable!

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - You and your ilk enjoy trotting out Sheen when it suits you, just like what SYR was trying to do..but you don't bother to look at all he said and did....just like protestants. You pick and choose what suits you. The Church is not a cafeteria or a buffet.

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - I'm sure Elenor goes to the library. Statistics have proven that women are more well read than men...but they often read fiction over non-fiction.

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - And if it is, it is dismissed if it contradicts the modernism that the reader clings to! Ahclearly you do not understand what historical research or historiography is about. Critical thinkingit is a concept you repel like a duck repels water.

mhowpierce Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Mapollo: Let's play ball scarecrow, I'm just in the mood. It is your "ilk" that calls the Mass a "Meal." From a book written by a Jesuit and published in 1964-- published to "set the stage for the planned changes" and used as a Freshman compendium for years! But this is heresy. The Mass is the Unbloody Sacrifice of the Cross. The Name of this tome is: "Lord of History" Novak, S.. J. , Vincent M., Holt, Rinehardt and Winston, Inc., 1964. page 274 "At A Meal... "Sacriledge!

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Once again, you use the same tactics as that of protestants. Pick an obscure dated work and use that as the penultimate example. You behave very much like the Landmark Baptists who have no past history and so they try and create one...You know what 'Revisionist History' is? You are doing it. Read the Catechism..there you will find the definition. And while you are at it...find the connection between the Eucharist, Last Supper, and the Jewish Seder. The 'memory' is important.

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - "calls the Mass a Meal" Give your head a shake...

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - "The word listen contains the same letters as the word silent" Alfred Brendel

mhowpierce Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - It is not a "penultimate" example. Many of your books that you adhere to depit the Mass as a Meal-Scriledge. i gave you a work that was oft quoted as there are others. the NO priest I know, some truly ordained call the Mass a Meal or "Eucharist." Their lack of reverence, as your is astounding. You are a fool Mapollo, a follower of liars and false clergy and a demeaner of the Sacred!

mhowpierce Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Bishop Fulton j. Sheen was bishop of Rochester from 1967 to 1969. He was a proponent of Vatican Two and thought he was obeying all the "new" order nonsense. He was extremely controversial as our "Bishop" and caused quite a stir-including closing a seminaryt which was a huge mistake. He made many mistakes here and was a heretic-denying the Faith that he was consecrated as Bishop to uphold--he tried to sell of St. Bridget's Parish for the future use of low income housing. A Failure!

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - If it isn't ... why use it? That is not how research is done, nor how a debate is conducted. Are you prepared to respond to the second part of my comments (in spite of your insults)? Find the connection between the Eucharist, Last Supper, and the Jewish Seder. The 'memory' is important. Or is Christ's Jewish heritage still a problem for you?

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - "Many of your books that you adhere to" What what books do you think I 'adhere' to? Do you know what is in my library at home? Do you know what I read everyday? No. But like protestants...you assume so. And that is because you are an outsider looking in. Seeing only what you want to see. Your presumptuousness is astounding, as well as idiotic.

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - "Sheen was bishop of Rochester" Tell SYR. He thinks Sheen supports his fantasies...but then again he also thinks the Dimon brothers are wonderful.

mhowpierce Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - "...find the connection between the Eucharist, Last Supper, and the Jewish Seder. The 'memory' is important. " There you go again, "Find the connection..." you are imperious. STOP ORDERING PEOPLE. The Mass in the reinactment of Calvery not a Seder or a Meal you foolish man--the Devil at least knows the truth, as he mocks the words of Consecration-:"Hocus Pocus"-knowing better than you to mock the words "Hoc est enim Corpus Meum." Your ilk changes them-- says it allowed when it is not! Fools

mhowpierce Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - I'm sure Eleanor goes to the library...' So am I so? what's that got to do with the fact that she knows more history and more Church history than you or some others. I'll wager a small fortune on that one. she was lauded in her profession and she was considered the brightest teacher out of almost thirty-five. all of her peers agreed. Good By Liar-Facts belie you! Get it --LIE! The Mass is not a Meal and You are Not A Catholic.

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - "The Mass is not a Meal" Did I say it was? No.

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - "There you go again" Well, if you don't want to do it..then don't do it. You may be afraid of what you will discover... But I'm glad to see you using the work 'ilk' properly. I'm glad you learned something. "Ne supra crepidam sutor iudicaret"

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - "the fact that she knows more history" She isn't the topic. You are. And you are not a theologian.

mhowpierce Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Exit the Eleanor Intelligent topic, I have a great deal of work to do in November. "She isn't the topic. You are. And you are not a theologian." Who said I was? You? I have no such ambition But I know my Faith. I know what is traditional dogmatic and doctrinal. As a layman that's my job. It's a joy But I have dinner to make-are you ever coming to dinner. No-no guts-no glory!

mhowpierce Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - And this: "This means that he is no true Pope, Vicar of Christ on Earth, Successor of Saint Peter in the primacy, but only a usurper and an occupier of Peter's See, even as his Modernistic predecessors who accepted, confirmed, decreed and brought to life the heretical teaching of the so-called Second Vatican Council." A Priest who Knows...

mhowpierce Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Be happy M-polio: Take some deep breaths and go back to work refreshed. Did you not say you on "VAC?"

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Nope..back at work....can't you tell when I'm on lunch or break? Blackberry's are amazing things...

mapollo Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - "A Priest who Knows..." Try someone other than Trytek.

priest008 Says:

Nov 2, 2009 - So lovely!! Only the foolish reject God's existence

aristopus Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - The way he mentioned PURITY, I think he has something against sex. NO BULL.
