Nov 13, 2009 - How did you manage to skate through all those leaves and grass at 2.00? I didn't think it was possible. You need extra big wheels or something??

Originalskateboards Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - Just keep your weight back.

Gametaster Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - Hey Originalskateboards! I was wondering the diffuculty of using a longboard and how to use one (I am interested in getting myself one). AWESOME VIDEO by the way!

rollfizzle Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - At 2:08 those bearings must be really high to go on grass like that right? cuz i can glide on grass on mine for like 5 seconds

Originalskateboards Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - This is the best thread I have seen on any Original video haha _Scott

Originalskateboards Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Hey Game, There's not too much difficulty except for finding your center of balance and learning how to adjust your weight when turning. Start off on small inclines or flatland and work your way up!

Originalskateboards Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Nah, you just need speed.

Eddie4sale Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - gravity boards are kind of stiff especially if youre into the small flex boards like s9. i agree with nikko. its not really about the brand name, but you definitely feel the difference in quality. sector 9's come stock with narrow trucks and small wheels. wide trucks, soft bushings, big wheels FTW

ShadowMoses12 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Well, different name brands have different styles of boards and how they make them, so you COULD say that it is kind of about the brand name. I do agree that the board doesn't matter QUITE as much as the trucks do, though. I don't necessarily like Gravity boards, but I do love their Kalai.

Nov 18, 2009 - i want to get either a derringer or the c35 for flatland surf style carving and sliding. can u do 180 slides on these which would be better

Sirdoman Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - great video

Originalskateboards Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Hey pk3, Yeah, you can do 180 slides on both of them. What's your height and weight?

pk3run1 Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - im about 5 5 or 5 6 and 150 pounds

Originalskateboards Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Yeah, at that height and weight, both boards will work great for you, so I would say pick which ever one you like better and go for it!

Rickypooh89 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - I want to start long boarding and am bout to buy my board. I was looking at the Hybrid 35, Path 37 or Torpedo 40. Im a beginner (tho i have a tiny bit experience with regular skateboarding if that helps) and weigh about 190 and am 5 11. What do you think about these boards?

Originalskateboards Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - Hey Ricky, Out of all those boards, I would recommend the Torpedo 40 with S8 Trucks for added stability and a smoother ride. Let us know if you have any other questions!
