John Lennon's 'Imagine' was written in the same spirit that fuels the current movement in Iran: the human condition, the fight for freedom of thought, speech, LIFE. And the need for unity among people regardless of religion. The song is timeless...ageless. I've heard it in so many different settings over the years, it still moves me to tears... But then I'm a huge Lennon fan. It might be different for others who don't connect with his life his work.
