Aug 12, 2009 - I couldn't agree more. I particularly love the relation to anthropology so to make all the history of the myth of Ra the more credible. Being a fan of Ancient Egypt history along with history of religions and their relation to one another, doubled with a fan of good sci-fi, which we don't find in trees nowadays, I've ruined a videotape a while ago and recently bought the DVD. There's no way to compare this masterpiece to the cheap series.

Oct 5, 2009 - It took me until about a month ago to relize why the SG-1 O'Neill always says 'And that's with two Ls!'. I have to say, I prefer the series a little more than the movie, just because there's so much to it. The movie may build the foundation, but even without the movie, I understood the backstory of Sg-1. Oh, and when's the Atlntis movie coming out?
