Nov 22, 2009 - Walter Cronkite had no time to change into his regular TV Journalist jacket and a clean shirt. He wasd busy going over the evening's news when he was rushed into the newsroom to cover the assassination. After his momentary pause and display of emotion after reading the official announcement, CBS rushed Harry Reasoner in to replace him and let Cronkite go home. To this day I cannot understand why they would have had to do this to Cronkite.....what did they expect from anyone on that day?
