Nov 20, 2009 - I cant agree with "nirvana started grunge". The sound was around before Nirvana, it just hadn't blown up and become especially apparent. His fame was one of the factors that led to his untimely death. There were plenty of bands that sounded just like them (not trying to downplay Nirvana) but weren't getting the same recognition. That's just the way the music industry was/is. On a side note, this is a great rendition of one of my favorite Bowie classics.
