Oct 27, 2009 - You present a very good point. Which is why the game is rated M for mature. However, these games still find their way into the interest of unintended audiences.

Oct 27, 2009 - if you whant somehing good for online then cod 6 or for campain army of two to be honest AOT sucks ass online
Wolvenhybrid Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - True, I can never find an online campaign game and when I play versus mode online, the server is so shit that I disconnect five minutes later.
Wolvenhybrid Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - If a child chooses to play an M rated game, they must deal with what is going to happen in the game. But this brings back the point that they shouldn't be playing these games anyway unless they're mature enough or they know that what they are playing is just a game and not based on real life.

Oct 27, 2009 - ok thanx :)

Oct 27, 2009 - if that is the case, then it falls under the discretion of the parents. To the kid, the game is portal into another reality that exists inside a box. Up until they are teenagers, kids tend to see things in black in white. A rank of maturity is very vague. Should it be limited to adults, or is it tolerable for young teenagers to see something so graphic? Fortunately stores like Gamestop require parents to make purchases of certain games; specifically M rated material.

Oct 28, 2009 - Tisen is the name of a dog i know XD
Wolvenhybrid Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - Yes, but downloading games requires no permission. It's easy for a kid to fake his ID on things like Steam to download things like L4D and he can easily ask his parents to add money to his account if he runs out, faking that the site is for kids or teenagers. This point is made especially clear if the child has their own computer that his parents don't use. Also, if their parents see them on the game the child can fake they've had the game for ages.
a1c41 Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - This is indeed a problem that does require attention. And it is something that falls under the discretion of the parents of how much trust they have for their children. Some parents may decide that videos are healthy in moderation, some may decide that Boys Scouts or sports are 100 times better, others simply don't care or they are too trusting. The ranking's purpose is grade the vid games of the overall maturity of the game. Kingdom Hearts was rated for 10+, Wii rated E, L4D: M, Mercs: T

Nov 5, 2009 - this game is awesome until you beat it and fully upgrade the guns, it's still pretty decent afterwords though and 2 people can play on the same system if that's what you were asking
McM1keyMe Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - ya the xbox live online is multi player, its just like campaign mode with your friend but its vs other players with their partners. also whats cool is they integrated npc teams which are computer created people. So it's pretty much you and your friend vs real people and ingame terrorists
