Nov 20, 2009 - have you read the authorization ron paul voted? i still dont think u understand yet. paul voted for bush to get osama bin laden w/o giving him power to nation build. if bush nation builds w/o authorization it is not paul's fault. ''first he voted for the war, then he starts saying it was mismamaged, now he says we shouldnt have gone in at all'' thats nonsense he voted SPECIFICALLY to get osama so it was truely mismanaged. we shouldnt have gone in to nationbuild. watch oreilly interview w/ paul

235isaiah Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Man! how can you get osama if you dont go in????? he said WE SHOULD NOT HAVE GONE IN! a vote to get osama is a vote to go in! Everybody wanted to get osama. look... i make you a deal, in his next interview on afganistan if he clarifies and says we should have caught osama and left... ill take this interview as him making an honest mistake and mispeaking.. if he says the same "we should not have gone in" B.S. then we know he is just your average lying politician.. o.k.?

sillynanny44 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - we dont have to wait till his next interview. he aready clarified it, just not in this video. watch bill o'reily vs ron paul. paul does countless interviews. plenty of other videos and sites show he supported going for osama. he meant in this video we shouldnt have gone in to nation build.

235isaiah Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Was his oreilly interview after this interview? my point was that he is shifting with the circumstances. If it was after this interview then i will cut him some slack. His statement is misleading and he should have said what he meant... but we all make mistakes

sillynanny44 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - why would he lie that he doesnt want to get osama bin laden? he voted specifically to get terrorists. after all the many many interviews saying he want to go in to get the terrorists rather than nationbuild, paul supporters know what he meant. bill oreily's interview was before this, but there are probably some posted after larry's.

235isaiah Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - because thats what politicians do.. they shift their positions to become politically correct. take bill clinton, the ultimate politician, he just came out in favor of gay mairrage many years after he signed DOMA. Like i said, in his NEXT interview on afganistan if there is more evidence on him shifting to "we should never have gone in" then he is a typical lying politician"... if he says we should have caught osama and left then he made a mistake agreed?

sillynanny44 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - people know what his positions are and what his voting record shows.. it is extremely obvious i dont see why u dont get it.. he even talked about why we cant nation build in this video. it is not in his interest to lie that ''he doesnt want to get osama after 9/11'' americans want our politicians to get the ones responsible, just not nation build. he did something right why would he lie and have people think he did something wrong.

235isaiah Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - im not denying that he is opposed to nation building, i never said he doesnt want to get osama... im saying that either he misspoke in this interview by saying we should never have gone in, or he is SHIFTING to make it appear that he was opposed to going in. you dont understand the way politicians work, you are the perfect example of why people just keep re-electing their favorite politicians... they just make excuses when they say something wrong

sillynanny44 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - lol u continue w/ the nonsense.... most politicians do bad things and lie that they did good things to get reelected. paul was right in voting for getting osama and was also right in not authorizing bush to nation build. u continue to pretend he said something wrong. he obviously meant he dont want to go in to nation building. if u research enough u'd know that he said he want to go in to specifically target terrorists. understand?

235isaiah Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - if thats what he meant then thats fine:)... he just made a mistake but if he says the same thing again.. then we know who he really is

sillynanny44 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - ''then we know who he really is'' again u continue w/ the nonsense lol... he didnt make a mistake.. he probably assume that his audience would do their homework.. u certainly havent

zackgonnasurvivenwo Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - thousands have died in the UK from the system.

235isaiah Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - he was not talking to his supporters, larry king is a national show... there are many people who dont know who ron paul is... you should always say what you mean and mean what you say your word is all you have

sillynanny44 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - yes and he talked about why we shouldnt nation build. going after osama bin laden is obviously something that we shouldve done....

Drieick Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - 235isaiah, you are talking about Iraq. Ron Paul and Larry King were talking about Afghanistan. Larry: "You are a strong critic of Iraq, are you a critic of the Afghanistan policy as well?" Ron Paul: "Yeah, I don't think we should have gone in..." I believe we went into Iraq to get Osama Bin Laden, among other things. Also, I believe Larry King and Ron Paul are referring to President's Obama plan to deploy more troops in Afghanistan (I forget how many, and that plan was announced months ago).

235isaiah Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - im talking about afganistan, ron pauls talking about afganistan too and said we should not have gone in. but he suppported going in before... no he changes

Drieick Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - I think he supported going into Iraq, to get Osama Bin Laden. If my memory serves correctly... Either way, YouTube's comment system makes this whole thing confusing, doesn't it...

235isaiah Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - no he opposed iraq and supported afganistan now he says we should have never went in.

sillynanny44 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - lol drieick just ignore 235isaiah he still dont know what he is talking about. paul did not change his view

ymirfrostgiant Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Well, at least I can agree with his foreign policy, but Ron Paul sounds like a YouTube user whenever he talks about the economy. Does he even know what 'Keynesian' policy actually is?

sillynanny44 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - he predicted our economic recession, housing bubble along w/ other libertarians/ austrian economists

sillynanny44 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - no he supported going to afghanistan to specifically get osama. he didnt change on that position. he is talking about why we shouldnt have went in to nation building.... obviously we shouldve gone in to get osama. makes no sense for you to accuse him of lying..

sillynanny44 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - so if you still dont believe me, you should just do some research.

miknwv Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - Yes, Ron Paul practices and preaches Austrian Economics......

turok4lyfe Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - RON PAUL revolution!!! One of the smartest and brightest men in Congress, he does not limit himself to insults at other members of congress. Michael Moore looks liek a blubbering idiot when Ron Paul looks like he has th wisdom of ten thousand presidents.
