Most hip-hop guys take themselves very seriously. Next, they've got an acoustic guitar going in a lot of their songs. Hip hop usually relies on machines for its "music." Maybe they're considered "hip hop" because "soul" is an antiquated word. At any rate, I enjoy listening to these talented young musicians.
