Nov 18, 2009 - I don't exactly understand what you are trying to explain but if I interpeted this correctly I would assume the following: Well yes, some times particulary young americans purposely immitate the "asian posing" for example but it does not mean anything. Immitation is everywhere, it is just a good way to exchange unique cultural differences that from other races find "cool". Nov 18, 2009 - Yea I read the description and all. plus I put organization in quotes, but see I'm a total history nerd, and while watching said mockumentary, I actually got excited cause that would be something interesting to study for reals. I know. Dork. but I can't help it. now I want someone to investigate the evolution on picture poses.

Copying = immitating =

Nov 18, 2009 - :) Well that's totally valid. There's nothing wrong with wanting to research, and yeah, actually it would be pretty interesting to see this done as a real study. It would be something like get X number of people, maybe an equal number from each race and see what people do with the peace sign. Like, the instructions would simply be "How do you give the peace sign?"
