Nov 12, 2009 - if you have the one gig model then it will

DEFECTX9 Says:

Nov 12, 2009 - Crysis 2 (Cryengine 3) does not use or support DX11. also The allmighty Nvidia allready claimed/bought Crysis 2! and Cryengine 3:)

donkey9125 Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - @Soreanol I doubt my 9500GT will handle this awsomeness D:

L1J2D3 Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - nvidia suck major ballsack ATI hav much better cards, the only thing nvidia has over them is a reputation - i used to be and nvidia guy but i got an ati card by accident and i never went back

Joroshira Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - ATi just shat massive bricks on console fanboi's faces everywhere. I mean, can any console do this on 3 monitors at a crazy resolution?

DEFECTX9 Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - yes you do

sodalmen Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - Holy shit, Nvidia can kiss my ass, ATI for ever

666necrobutcher666 Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - ATI hardware is great, but their drivers are terrible. especially on their dual GPU cards. i'm anticipating nvidia's GT300 cards to blow ATI out of the water hardware wise. it's not like nvidia to abandon a chip as good as the G200 after 1 gen. the G92 (8800, 9800, GTS250) got milked for 3 generations after all. they must have something up their sleeves.

L1J2D3 Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - haha hi thats exactly what i always said until i got an ati card - the drivers are so easy to get and install, and the catalyst control center is soooo much nicer than nvidia control panel... but hey its not something im expecting everyone to agree with me on. a year ago i wud have argued nvidia was better... its down to personal preference i guess. i just dont like ppl hu say "oh nvidia rocks" because they know the name and nothing else - ur obviously not one of those and i respect ur opinion.

hezimoe Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - nvidia or ati either way the consumer wins! Strong work both companies!

HydraliskX Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - The problem is, the G200 isn't nearly as astounding as the G92 was back then.

InfectedRecords Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Fuck you guys, about nvidia sucks or ATI sucks. I mean they're both good video cards company, and I dont fucking care if i got a Nvidia or ATI. I just want one that is cheap and gives me the best results at gaming..

ChewbaccaAguilera Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - I'd suggest going with ATI for that matter, but I have Nvidia in my PC and I love it. I've dealt with both vendors, and they're both equally as good, it's just that an Nvidia card can cost you more. They're both on par with each other though, so I agree when you say fuck you :P

purewolfgod1 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - @Joroshira A PS3 has before with Gran Turismo 5: Prologue. But its not a actual feature of a game it was just to show off. You can't just diss all consoles anymore. They are getting quite powerful. I can understand saying Wii sucks hardware wise but it has some fun games. But I am not a fan of Wii. I love my PS3 though. But I do want a gaming computer really bad. I don't even have a computer of my own anymore :(

latinsoldierb Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - i agree with you but you know that nvidia might go out of business ( video card wise) and start making cell phones. Reason being it's because alot of their video cards fail while being made thus wasting a lot of money ( main reason nvidia cards cost so dam much).

Joroshira Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - No, I'm talking about the type of people who glorify consoles as some sort of super computer beasts that can run anything, but your right.

Javadamutt Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - isnt cry engine3 the console version of cry engine2? wonder if it will support DX11

purewolfgod1 Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - @Javadamutt It is a new engine that is for PC and also has console versions. For PC it could but for consoles I doubt we will see DX11 :( But games like Uncharted 2 just have 3D rocks and stuff instead of just 3D textures.

FoxhoundJay Says:

Nov 17, 2009 - yeah i remember that. Game ran at Crazy frames too like 260 or something.

Javadamutt Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - One of the features (tesslation) was first implimented on the 360. I was always of the opinion cry3 was a backwards step so it could run on consoles. Unless it adds even better physics, and more efficient coding I dont feel it can offer much over cry2 especially in visuals (which dont really need improved). Pity more games didn't use cry engine. Far cry2 (think it was called DUNIA) engine was visually impressive too. Pity the game sucked after a couple of hours.

666necrobutcher666 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - its the inconsistency of the drivers that i dont like. my friend's 4850x2 runs crysis with little performance gain over a 4870, also the same card had MAJOR clipping issues which werent solved until a driver update about 3-4 months. IMO ATI are for people more concerned about 'bang for buck' willing to sacrifice better driver consistency, or in the case of the 5870 or 5970 anyone who wants DX11 ASAP =) i almost bought a 4890 over my GTX275 but decided against it, largely because of the drivers.

zombiehellmonkey Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - I wonder if this gaming rig can handle Half Life 1?

Gilbertownsyou Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - rofl If comments could be rated that would be a 5 star ^_^

thierryvt Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - that's true im afraid. i have 2 4890's running in crossfire with win7 drivers and they're buggy as hell. flikkering driver screen, buggy crossfire (auto disabling crossfire, not using crossfire,...). but now i heard rumours about nvidia stepping away from gaming and going industrial or something.

dan171717d Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - i doubt it. if it was overclocked a weee bit it might just be able to just squeze quake in.
