Master Game 12: noif advara kavadra and another spell met i mid air it would normally go right tru, It did't in the fourt book beakuse harrys and voldemorts wands are twins. And the elder wand kannot deflekt the killing kurse.

Sep 5, 2009 - Priori Incantatem was probably used in the movie because it looks cool, but it's not supposed to be possible in this case. It's only supposed to be possible between two wands that share cores from the same source... not even the Elder Wand can create the connection. Spells can collide and rebound, though. I thought the film duel was too short; its only around 90 seconds long. A battle between two greatest living wizards in the story should last longer than that!

I don't reckon he used it when he still was in school and professor tofty for example told, that he had never seen someone doing things with his/her wand as dumbledore did in his final exams
