Feb 10, 2008 - just use the other spare that should be attached near your chest

Mutrino Says:

Apr 10, 2008 - Use a long hose on the primary regulator and have the backup around your neck. This solves this non problem.

Jun 1, 2008 - or you could adapt a rucksack strap to hold a D clip on either end one you attach to your BC and the other is attached to your reg via a clip .... this way you can NEVER lose it unless someone steals it from you and tooks it behind your back... but how often does that happen? lol

Aug 4, 2008 - DIR? I think that makes way more sense.

Mutrino Says:

Aug 4, 2008 - Yes, the long hose with the bungeed backup is DIR, I have used both ways and the DIR way just happens to work beautifully.

soccom8341576 Says:

Aug 7, 2008 - I tend to be a little slow in hose retrieving, especially on rented gear. DIR is just safer.

edlitz36 Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - It's just easier to switch to your alternate second stage, THEN retrieve your primary.
